Art

art04 Here's some more artwork that I had done back in the late 80s. I believe the original was done in '89 which is the black and white pencil drawing on the bottom 2 images. The one with the color on it is actually an enlarged photo copy of the pencil drawing that I added orange and reddish marker to. It gave it a shiny iridescent look. The original has not aged well. The matting glue has bled through and discolored parts of the image. I am experiencing this with a lot of my art portfolio. Some of my followers have asked to share some more art work and asked if I still draw. I haven't drawn anything really substantial in probably 2 decades. I can't really explain why, maybe I just found different interests and other hobbies I focused on more. I'll have a few more to post later and hope you enjoy.

A picture of an eagle coming out of a volcano done with colored pencil and markers. It was a grid box design I did back in 1988 when I used to draw a lot. The original design came from a pellet advertisement for .177 and .22 caliber pellets. I no longer have the ad, but the art remains and is framed, hanging in a place to admire. This image has history for me and some of my ideas. The image I called "Talains erupting", and I got some ridicule for the spelling of talons.  I kept the spelling  the way it was and eventually used it as my gaming name for arcade games and on-line gaming. I still use the name to play with! Eventually I have  used Talain as my blogging name. I believe that Art is were ideas come from, dreams are imagined, reality takes place and persistance pays off.
