Two White-tail Deer bedding in the woods near our home. They are usually in a larger group of 6 to 7 animals and we can see them from the road side on our walks around the block. They pretty much stay there all day I thing and wait for the darkness of night to set and come into our community and forage for food in the wee hours of morning. This year they made it to our garden and cleaned out all of our tomato’s and pepper plants in one night. We were just beginning to love having fresh tomato’s for breakfast in our omelets! This image of them is from April 12th of this year but I probably could have taken it as easily as yesterday.
