The morning to start things off

Camping 002

This was a picture taken on the first morning of our  father-son canoe trip that me and my oldest son went on a couple weeks back. The adventure lasted for three day as we camped, kayaked and fished on the far side of Stillwater Lake in the Adirondack Mountains. The first night we camped in a farmer’s field some 30 miles from our final destination.

“Waking up this morning, I smile. Twenty-four brand new hours are before me. I vow to live fully in each moment and to look at all beings with eyes of compassion.”

― Thich Nhat Hanh quote
