My dad and I just saw two of these earlier today and were wondering what they were, so thank you for the identification! 🙂

Your very welcome. I hope that you can see more of them and listen to them sing, it is just lovely to hear.

I’m sorry, I was working on something and I really did not pay close enough attention to witch post you commented on from the status bar. I thought you actually made your comment about my Loon post last night. O’well, I’m glad that you enjoyed the Painted Lady Butterfly along with the two you saw. 🙂

Thank you Laurie 🙂 Great to see you back and posting your wonderful radicals again. I did miss it for that time! I’m starting to ketch up on some things here and reply to older comments especially I’ve over lock while I was on vacation. Hope your enjoying your morning 🙂
PS: The snow in Australia in one of your posted did through me a little bit 🙂 Never new!

      • You’re welcome Michael. It’s good to be back and checking out your pics. I’ve had a busy morning, watering the yard and making bark chips. Short of nothing to do around here. 🙂 Yes we have snow here. Not always up near us but down in the southern alps they have great snowfields.

Yes they are. They are one of my favorite butterflies!
