A close up of what as a child we called a clover head. I really don’t think that’s what it is called but it is beautiful just the same. We use to eat them after in rained in the farm fields as I remember. They had a sweetness to them selves that we enjoyed. I did not realize until I did this close up that it is infect made up of many little flower.

Yes. It’s red clover. When I was growing up, we had red and green clover in our yard. Bees love them and use their nectar to make honey.

    • The bees still love them here along with the Golden Rode in the fall. The fields are always buzzing with they’re activity.
