Bald Eagle #12
This is a Immature Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) that saw on May 2nd up in a large tree along the river banks of the Susquehanna River in Vestal New York. I was Kayaking with my oldest son down the river from Johnson City to Mores Park in Vestal for a fun sort ride. We saw him about half way into our adventure. He was quit a large and massive bird more resembling a hawk then an eagle at first look but it’s sizes did give it away. It has been nice to see them in the Binghamton NY’s surrounding area the last few years.
Dude- THAT is one bird I’m not messing with! 😾*(tail FLAP)!*
Come on, he just set his table. Won’t you join him! I’m sure you would be more than a Meeow’s full! Well, have a great night anyway if you won’t join 🙂
Maybe – if he loses those flippin talons!
Maybe he just wants a big kiss before dinner? he’ll just sit on his talons! lol He’s not into hairball but his friend the owl is! I have not seen him yet.
Wow – what a shot!
