Mallard Duck #9

Ducks, Mallard 009

A Male Mallard Duck walking on the frozen Chenango River In Binghamton NY yesterday. This past week has bean good for me, I’ve finally gone outside and done some birding for once this year. This Mallard Duck shoot is one of the first that I have taken in about two or three months of any bird. Start with the essay one and I guess to work back into it again. I have not found the time to go out up until now recently. Hopefully I’ll have better things to come.

I haven’t been out much either… too cold and icy, as you duck in the photo so nicely illustrates!

Yes, it’s bean quit cold. Just think in six to eight weeks it should be a little bit more pleasant to go out. At least I’m hoping. Take care of your self Leslie and enjoy 🙂

  2. Good thing they are waterproof! That looks like a cold walk! 😀

They seam unfazed by being in such harsh conditions, wished that we were too! Springs right around the corner in six to eight weeks and then we can all splash around in the water to some degree. Have a great one, MT 🙂

      • OH yes I was just watching the weather. It’s been snowing for 2 days and then sleeting tonight! Oh boy Spring will be a blessing for sure! 😀

        It’s colder than a duck’s bum on a frozen pond. 🙂
