Changing Colors for a peaceful day

woods 002

An image in the early autumn woods on my brothers property north of Johnson City. I like the simple peaceful beauty of this shoot. I remember that it was a very nice temperate day, silent with just the hint of a slight breeze. No birds singing, no automobile sounds, no plane, “No nothing!” I could hear my self think almost, so to me it was a very enjoyable day for a hike even with out finding birds that I love so much to take images of.

This is beautiful, especially considering how upstate New York looks right now!

    • Yes, now! Very cold and snowy. That weather system from the north is hitting us hard right now. I’m sure places around Syracuse and higher are getting it worsted. Anyway, stay safe and enjoy your New Year, Michael 🙂

      • I live up in Plattsburgh, near the border, and we’re not getting the snow but the cold is wicked. Your photos are a nice break–color and life!

  2. Happy new year!! Looking forward to many posts from you in 2014 as well 🙂

The colors are glorious and seem suspended in the forest background.
