  2. I agree it is not a North American bird and it may not be Central or South American either but rather African or Asian. The bill shape is similar to a myna, and the fact that it appears to be silver in color is unusual. The long, curvy nails on its toes also get me. Unfortunately I do not have any volumes of Handbook to the Birds of the World to pore through for hours so I can’t be more helpful. Does the conservatory have a list of its birds somewhere?
