(OBC) #69, Female Purple Honeycreeper

Oneonta Butterfly Conservatory 069

Here again we have another bird from the Oneonta Butterfly Conservatory perched on this  pink orchid plant. I don’t have any name for this bird as well as past posts from this location. Any help for a name of this bird would by appreciated!

Sept 4th update: Its a Female Purple Honeycreeper and its most likely a tropical bird. Thank you Rolling Harbour and Ok So Far 🙂

Personal note: I’ve been out of town for the weekend and I’m trying to catch up with my reader, see you soon 🙂

    • Just ran this by a couple of birding friends. Yep! Female Purple Honeycreeper, a tropical bird. And very pretty.
