A picture of an eagle coming out of a volcano done with colored pencil and markers. It was a grid box design I did back in 1988 when I used to draw a lot. The original design came from a pellet advertisement for .177 and .22 caliber pellets. I no longer have the ad, but the art remains and is framed, hanging in a place to admire. This image has history for me and some of my ideas. The image I called "Talains erupting", and I got some ridicule for the spelling of talons. I kept the spelling the way it was and eventually used it as my gaming name for arcade games and on-line gaming. I still use the name to play with! Eventually I have used Talain as my blogging name. I believe that Art is were ideas come from, dreams are imagined, reality takes place and persistance pays off.

Buttermilk Falls SPNY, January 19th
The lower fall and the largest one covered with ice, it kind'a looks like a glacier but not as magnificent. Located in the south of Ithaca, New York State.
The upper park falls, I did not walk the gorge trail for it was closed due to hazards conditions. I walked the trail maney years ago and I beleve that their are more falls along the way up/down.
