Here I just took a picture of the ice forming over a small coy pond that I made in our backyard.
As kids we called this the umbrella tree, the only one I can say I've ever seen. It still grows on my grandmother's property and I still do not know what it is!
From where I was, this 747 is probably heading towards New York's or Boston Airports. I like looking up at them with their vapor trails, the way they paint the sky, and wonder where they're coming from and going to. Don't like to fly though, hate it! The last plane I was on I probably left my finger impressions in the bottom of the armrest during takeoff and landing.
This image was at the max draw power of my lens. One day I would like to get a real sharp and crisp image of them at that altitude, but this works for now.
